Munich

Berlin

Berlin is also home to some of the most popular Germany travel destinations. Berlin Wall is no more alive, but it remains are still there – especially the Brandenburg Gate, which is the last Berlin wall gate that still stands. It is always a great delight to look at the statue of Nike on the top of the arch of this ornate gate. Visitors wanting to spend some time in a beautiful city park should stop by the Tiergarten. The park is located in the heart of the town. Other notable sites include the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe and the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church. During your Berlin Germany travel, you may also like to stop by Schloss Charlottenburg – an enchantingly impressive castle. Among the various Prussian palaces in Germany, this is the oldest one (built in 1790). There are seventy ornate rooms in this castle.

Cologne

The Dom is probably the most attractive site for tourists in Cologne. It is actually the largest cathedral in Germany. Its history dates back to the seventh century. The special thing about this amazing cathedral is that it is one of those few Germany travel destinations that survived the bombings of the Second World War.

The romantic road in the Southern Germany is also something that you should not want to miss during your visit to this amazing country, which has a multifaceted appeal. It is an old trade route that leads from the city of Würzburg to the foothills of the Alps. Drive on this road and you will be able to explore several other Germany travel destinations, including King Ludwig’s castle, baroque palaces, and medieval towns, such as Augsburg, Dinkelsbühl, and Rothenburg.
